Nutricology S©curil is a novel formulation that contains a special type of probiotic bacteria found in food called Propionibacterium freudenreichii, which can simultaneously function as a prebiotic. Propionbacterium freudenreichii produces propionic acid, a natural biological acid that benefits bifidus flora. The human digestive tract contains a complex bacterial ecosystem. Some unpleasant symptoms such as heaviness, bloating, reduced bowel frequency and flatulence are often the result of disturbed intestinal flora. Securil supports the development of endogenous bifido bacteria for healthy gastrointestinal function. Intestinal flora are essential to good digestive function, including assimilation of essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids. A rich, balanced and well implanted flora may benefit human metabolism, and healthy intestinal function reinforces natural defenses.

Good probiotic that worked

I know everybody says the same thing in positive reviews for different probiotics, that they finally found probiotic that works. Well, believe it or not this one works for me, and that is the truth. The only thing that you need to know, is that you have to take any probiotics on an empty stomach with a glass of water in the morning. I also had to take double or triple dose so I went through two boxes, but unlike other probiotics, this one worked for me and my digestion improved tremendously.

Keep in mind that our microbiome is like our fingerprint--unique and individual to each person. That being said on the first day I tried this I did feel a small bump in energy--maybe about 2-3%--which is a lot to pwME/CFS. I've had ME/CFS for 39 years and this at least made me remember how I felt 20 years ago when it was not as progressed. The second day I initially got the same reaction but a short time later, I had a very uncomfortable wired feeling. I then waited about a week to try again and this time I started to get heart flutters and later one of my unique symptoms of feeling "heart tired." I think this is just too strong for me right now. I am going to go on to some other things to try and shift my microbiome and maybe later this may be okay. One good note is that my blood pressure is normally extremely low. Up until last year it was always was around 86/58. Daily licorice brought that up to 91/59. This probiotic brought my bp into a "normal" range of about 107/69 which is why I think I initially felt better. Only one other probiotic has ever done that for me so I will probably keep this on my "try again" list.
