N-Acetyl Tyrosine is an acetylated derivative of the amino acid L-tyrosine. Ordinary L-tyrosine is less stable and also less soluble in water, which may result in reduced bioavailability. Acetylation enhances the solubility and stability of certain amino acids.
N-Acetyl Tyrosine supports brain function by supporting the synthesis of the catecholamines norepinephrine and dopamine (neurotransmitters).* Vitamin B6 is essential for amino acid metabolism.*

This is the best tyrosine supplement Ive found! In the past, I would take regular l-tyrosine for an occasional mood/energy boost, but the impact was mild and would wear off quickly. This acetyl form with added b6 is a game changer. Seems to last longer and work much more effectively, even at a lower dose (350mg vs regular at 500mg). As with any amino acid, its important to take this on an empty stomach for best absorption and take breaks to maintain effectiveness, but overall I really suggest trying it.
I combined 2 pills of this with 200mg of Caffeine and 60mg of Ginkgo Biloba and it increased my productivity and attention by a good margin, but the caffeine gives me jitters, I dont respond well to caffeine.
Sometimes you try a product to help prevent one thing and actually end up worsening the problem. This was one of those times. In an effort to cure/treat/diminish/have just one less migraine, and as a chronic migraine sufferer , I find that I will try a lot of things, especially natural things. A migraine-prone brain can be dopamine-deficient, this product helps with that, so I thought it was a win-win. About five days in, I realized I was having increased migraines (daily) of worsening severity. Stopping the product meant that the migraines stopped after a couple of days and then returned to my normal torment. My hope of using this to help with migraines was an abject failure.
I'm using this as a digestive aid to prevent Gallbladder (GB) attacks. It is working great. I'm not good at taking it pre-meal but that doesn't seem to matter. It works even if I'm starting to feel the early onset of another GB attack. I take it along with Turmeric Curcumin with Bioperine 1650mg
