So yeah, don't know why people give poor reviews because of B3 flush. It happens, you can do things to lessen the effects like taking it at a meal. I use the flush to my advantage, I make my own lotion with a bunch of very high quality ingredients and smother my body in this vitamin rich lotion before the flush kicks in, so that my skin and body gets flooded with the vitamins and fatty acids.

Wow. Flushing is an understatement. I took my first one and in less than 20 minutes my ears were hot and I could feel my heartbeat in them. My legs above my knees got hot and I got up to look. I broke out allllll over my body in this "flush". I won't be taking anymore but they may not be like this for everyone.

I think people are unaware of the type of niacin they are buying. This is flushing niacin -nicotinic acid B3. It’s supposed to set you on fire. Whew... the flush! If you are unprepared for the flush, read up about it FIRST or it will be quite disconcerting. The first time I took this product, I forgot completely that I added it to my morning vitamin mix and then I skipped a few days because I forgot. So Monday morning, I am at work and I take my vitamins with my morning tea, and all of a sudden I start feeling WEIRD... VERY weird. It starts with prickling in your nostrils, that spreads to your cheeks, then ears, which get very hot, then down the neck through your torso and out to your fingers and toes. It is like standing inside the sun... OMG. So I am looking at my secretary who tells me I look a little odd, like I am "pink". Heat is rolling off me in waves I cannot believe she can't feel it from 10 feet away. I AM the sun... My socks are clearly melting around my feet. I contemplate whether I should be worried as this is really very strange, then I start to process the sensations, and consider whether I am having a heart attack ... probably not, pulse is fine, or a stroke... probably not, as I am cogent, just HOT. I wrack my brain thinking I am having an allergic reaction but I haven't eaten anything yet today. So then I remember... OH... The Niacin. I read the reviews, I remembered the "flush". Well, that term does not accurately describe this sensation. It subsides after about 25-30 minutes but lessened some after 15 or so. Whew. That was my fault. So after thinking about it, that wasn't so bad, just different. You can feel that niacin working, coursing through your body. Oh, don't forget the distinctly metallic taste that floods your mouth while this is happening. Now, after a couple of weeks, it seems the flush is diminishing a little but I have decided that I kind of like it. So just be prepared when you try it for the first time if you are not accustomed to this sensation. The product itself is great, I would purchase again.

Ive had high cholesterol for several months now., as well as plantar fasciitis....its just a byproduct of working more...being on my feet, A LOT...being busier, and not taking time out to take care of a 46 year old body, the way it should be maintained. So, I have no complaints about this product. All I asked from the beginning, was for it, to do, what I wanted it to do. And it has. think about it..this pill has basically saved me thousands of bucks, of what a lot of folks would have surgery for. Im not sure what going to the gym, in concert with what this stuff does for you, but I gotta think, getting the blood pumping and eating well, would probably help this pill, do what it does, even more, regarding your cardiovascular system, anyway. A neighbor/friend told me there is such a thing as a topical niacin solution, that helps nourish your face...as well as firming it up, so to speak. I looked it up, and there are several brands. That will be my next pit stop with niacin..again. it will save me a lot of money that a lot of people would spend on botox and face lifts. And I dont need a face lift. But I do love the idea of having a fresher looking face that has been enhanced by a niacin product that cleared up age lines and bags under my eyes. Im what you call, "a very happy customer".
