Makes me feel better

I like that these do not irritate your stomach. I take one in the morning on an empty stomach and then one in early afternoon either before or after lunch. Oddly enough, I seem to sleep better when taking this and notice a difference when I forget to take them. I will continue to buy.

A turmerosaccharides and turmeric supplement, not a curcumin supplement

This is not a curcumin supplement. It is a turmeric and turmerosaccharides supplement. The theory is that turmerosaccharides can help with joint flexibility and joint issues like arthritis. It wasnt obvious to me what this was by looking at on the product page, and the exact ratio of ingredients is hidden inside of a proprietary formula. Turmeric is a spice you can buy in every grocery store, so it is not something I would pay a premium to get in pill form. The label does not disclose the ratio of the bulk root and the more potent extract, which makes it hard to price compare. Most people interested in turmeric are after curcumin. I actually dont need anything for joint pain, so I dont notice anything from these pills. I dont notice much from curcumin either, and many people point out that your body has a hard time absorbing the curcumin, which is what the black pepper supposedly helps with. I would rather not have black pepper in these, since it also aids with the absorption of unwanted compounds in your intestines. I measure 1.03g tablets with a claimed 800 mg of active ingredients, plus fillers. It would be better if maltodextrin was not in these, for those of us trying to reduce our carb intake. This says keto-friendly, yet it has unnecessary maltodextrin. I recommend getting a supplement that does not contain bulky turmeric and instead focus on ones that contain higher quantities of whatever extract you are interested in, whether it is curcumin or turmerosaccharides. It is labeled as being certified organic. The current price is $30 for 30 servings, which seems high for what this is. It is easy to find turmerosaccharides extract for less money. Turmacin is a trademarked brand.
