VESInol-QH, supplied by TruGen3®, provides 100 mg of Kaneka QH™ ubiquinol, a reduced form of coenzyme Q10, specially formulated with the superior VESIsorb® colloidal delivery system to promote optimal absorption and utilization by the body.
Coenzyme Q10, also known as ubiquinone, is a vitamin-like substance produced by the body to support the body's production of energy in the mitochondria. It is a cofactor in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, the biochemical pathway that produces adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and metabolic energy. Numerous studies show that it can support normal cardiovascular structure and function. It also can act as an antioxidant, supporting the body's normal neutralization of free radical molecules.
Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10 and has shown to have superior benefits compared to coenzyme Q10 in certain patient populations. Since it is a fat-soluble nutrient, ubiquinol can be limited in its usefulness by poor absorption by the body.
