I was so happy to find MCT oil in a glass bottle!!!! My family uses MCT oil everyday, and I thought this product provided both an environmentally sound packaging with a great product; however, I did not realize that this company uses Palm Kernel Oil which is both ecologically detrimental and unhealthy to consume. What a bummer!!!! For some reason I thought I read in their literature that they used 100% coconut, but that is NOT the case.

No taste; heavy glass jar

No taste. Already increased my metabolism after only a week of use. Only negative is how heavy the glass jar is. Difficult to lift with one hand and pour into a spoon for consumption. I lose a lot of product; dripping down the side of the jar.

The Protocol MCT oil is sold in amber, glass bottles. Most of the MCT oils are in plastic bottles and I'm trying to avoid the chemicals in plastics like the phthalates (butyl benzyl phthalate (BBzP), dibutyl phthalate (DnBP), di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), di-butyl phthalate (DBP), benzyl butyl. These chemicals seem to be everywhere and have been documented for negative health affects. To me, it's worth paying more for the glass bottle.
