Zinc is an essential mineral that is involved in many aspects of cellular metabolism.* Zinc is a key cofactor in hundreds of enzymatic reactions, and plays a critical role in protein synthesis, the maintenance of cellular structures, and cell signaling.* Because of these varied functions, zinc is necessary for the maintenance of skeletal, neurological, reproductive, and immune system health.* Although dietary bioavailability of zinc is relatively poor, zinc glycinate has been shown to achieve superior absorption and bioavailability.

Caused white bumps on face overtime....

I've purchased 3 times now, using it for 3 whole months while following the suggested dose of 2 FULL DROPPERS once/day. The first 2 months were great: Nails: My nails were growing in at a very strong and rapid pace. I couldn't keep up with trimming them. My toe nails were next level. They were so strong, my clippers even had a hard time cutting them. The toenail shrapnels.....watch out and good luck at the ER. Hair: I was mostly taking this for hair management because I noticed my hair was shedding like crazy since this whole pandemic started. However, I have biotin sensitivity and read that this was a good replacement. My hair has pretty much stopped shedding. Skin: I hadn't seen any noticeable difference when it came to my skin other than it does have more plump to it. The first two months were fine, but by the time I started the 3rd bottle, I started noticing little white bumps clustering around my face. It started as one and continued to appear one by one until they formed clusters along my jawline/cheek area. They did not look like acne, blackheads, or comedones...just weird white bumps, and I couldn't get rid of them no matter what I did. I started to blame them on hormonal acne and everything under the book. But none of that made sense because I am very healthy. I couldn't even start a process of elimination because I already use the most minimal skincare products. I then started wondering if the silica was somehow responsible so I stopped taking it. After 1.5 week of DCing, the bumps started subsiding, therefore confirming this product was definitely the culprit. I wondered if the dosage was simply too high for me, so I decided to take it again, but with a much lower dose. Now, I only use 7 drops per day and it seems to be compatible with me at this lower dose (white bumps almost all gone). I really love this silica and I didn't want to stop taking it, so I think you will need to figure out the dose that works best for you. 375 mg may be too high for us sensitive folks.
