Matcha Tea is matcha tea

I am a morning cold matcha person. I drink it because it is good for me. I would not drink it otherwise., no matter what brand. This is similar in flavor to a different brand. Yet is does deliver caffeine that endures all morning into lunch.

Tastes god-awful

Okay, so a few people here have asked if this is ceremonial grade. If it doesn't say it's ceremonial grade on the package, IT IS NOT. I should have caught that when I purchased it. Like someone else here, I followed the advice of the subscription-based, independent ConsumerLab.com, which tests various products for ingredients, etc. While it may have a lot of catechins, I can tell you it tastes god-awful. In fact, it left such an unpleasant taste in my mouth (even after rinsing my mouth out), an unsettled stomach and even a feeling of nausea that I had to eat a piece of candied ginger to calm my stomach. I might try this added to a smoothie but would definitely not try to drink this plain ever again. I might also just throw it out.
