Details: Nattokinase is a profibrinolytic serine protease originally extracted and purified from natto, a traditional fermented soybean food popular in Japan. The fermentation process includes incubating boiled soybeans with Bacillus subtilis natto. Current research suggests that nattokinase may support healthy coagulation of blood within normal levels, and may be useful in the maintenance and enhancement of normal healthy endogenous fibrinolysis, the dissolution of the essential portion of the blood clot or thrombus.* Maintenance of optimum functioning of the body’s fibrinolytic/thrombolytic mechanisms may benefit the function of many bodily systems, in particular the cardiovascular system and the brain.*

I take this product in 100mg as an alternative to Warfarin. Nattokinase by Allergy Research Group is a wonderful alternative to those of us with a clotting factor or abnormal blood. It is proven through research to normalize blood and reduce clotting, in my doctors words, 'it makes the blood slippery and prevents clotting without the potential dangerous side effects of pharmaceutical drugs". Trials on this product were done with animals and the results were amazing. So remarkable the results, the product was sent to the Mayo Clinic for human trials where it was buried (presumably by the Pharmaceutical Companies which can not patent the product). On the other hand, if the product was not effective for the intended use under the study it would have been quickly published as a debunked product, but that did not happen. 100mg is the recommended dosage is considered extra strength and is made in Japan. Sometimes 100mg is a bit too much or my blood is thin enough so I take the 50mg occasionally. Daily I take Nattokinase by Allergy Research Group and Pycnogenol by Life Extension, my veins and blood are happy. Highly recommend.
