Went Rancid QUICKLY

I had this for about 2 weeks and enjoyed it. The oil smelled heavenly in my diffuser necklace. But after about 3 weeks the bottle smelled rancid! After being stored in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight, with the lid tightly closed. Very disappointing. I have almost an entire bottle left, of rancid oil that can't be returned.
