Recommended by my functional medicine doctor. Has really helped my gastrointestinal issues. Does have a very herbaceous smell and occasional after taste but nothing so terrible that it out weighs the benefits.
5 years ago I bought Gastro Mend from my MD who is also a Naturopathic (he is now retired unfortunately). It was wonderful and healed me from GERD and gastritis. In the beginning of the year I had an ear infection and was prescribed an antibiotic that messed up with my stomach and I am still trying to heal from it. Unfortunately Gastro Mend is very expensive and I cannot afford it any longer. I found out that Gastric Soothe from Source Naturals is a more affordable option but it does not have the same ingredient as Gastro Mend does..just the zinc.
Very easy to swallow. Zinc has been shown to decrease chances of getting colds. Have not been sick at all.
Good daily supplement. No taste, easy to swallow, and I haven't been sick since I started them.
