This product contains the famous nootropic (brain drug) physphatidylserine at 100mg - the dose most common in such brain pills. Wikipedia says the FDA gave this ingredient "qualified health claim" status for reducing dementia among the elderly. It is believed by many to help with all levels of cognition though that claim is not verified. And the stuff is available in food - 130 mg in a chicken leg with skin (3.5 oz meat) or 140 mg in 6 oz beef or veal. But here it is packaged neatly in pill form. My question is why it is used in a pill aimed at kids (teens). The stuff hasn't been on the market for that long and it's fine for an adult to play with brain chemicals, but for kids? I guess we all want little Johnnie to get into Harvard at all costs! And there are supporting herbs and compounds: B12, magnesium, citicoline (another nootropic), green tea extract, theanine, and saffron extract. The amount of each ingredient is listed which is nice. This should work for anyone - teen or geezer or anyone in between.
