Where do I begin... based on the glowing reviews and the Amazon recommendation, I purchased this product. Some reviewers stated that they've been using this for years and can't live without it while others say it leaves their skin dry!! This makes me wonder if they're actually talking about this product as it has tons of oils in it and if you just put it on your hands and use it as hand wash, you'll feel how slippery your hands feel because of the oils!!! It doesn't strip oil from your face!!! While this product does clean, I can't say how thoroughly clean it makes your face feel as I don't think this cleans any better than any other cleansers on the market. There are two major flaws with this product: 1. This face wash smells like floor cleaner!!! How is it possible that the manufacturer spent this much effort to formulate this product and yet made it smell like commercial floor cleaner!!! This is a FAIL !!! Perhaps this product works for folks with acne but this is not an issue for me. So unless you need it for this purpose, I'd stay away, unless, of course you like the smell of floor cleaner!! 2. The container comes with a regular plastic bottle cap. This makes it very hard to pour out the right amount for each use especially from a 32oz. container!!! How about including a pump dispenser head to make things easier?!! I've only used this product a few times and it does clean but I do not like the oily film it leaves on your face. I've gotten better results by using Peppermint Tea Tree Oil Shampoo!!! Very disappointed based on Amazon's recommendations!

Pros ??? I've been taking these for about 4 weeks and I can't say that I've noticed them help me sleep better. In fact, I've had quite a few nights over the past month of terrible sleep so the jury is still out on that front. Cons: These are TERRIBLE to swallow and ALWAYS feel like they get stuck in my throat! Even if I take other pills afterward and drink a whole glass of water, I can feel these in my esophagus for at least 30 minutes! It's awful. I hate it. The only way I can relieve the feeling is to eat something but I take these as directed right before bed on an empty stomach. So eating after taking them defeats the entire purpose and also interferes with my eating plan (aka not eating after dinner). I will admit that I have never been a person that enjoyed taking pills of any kind. I take all pills one at a time with a big gulp of drink to get them down. But over my years I have learned to take larger pills without a problem. With the health problems I am working on (the reason I am taking these in the first place) I am taking somewhere around 16 pills per day. These are the only ones I struggle with and that give me this "stuck in my throat" feeling. I dred every night knowing I have to take them. I will continue with my doctors orders and take them for 2 more weeks to complete a 6 week course. I will be so glad when I'm done. For the price of these, I really hoped to feel some sort of positive result. I can honestly say I have felt nothing different and I can't stand taking them for the feeling they give in my throat every night. So could I recommend them to anyone? Absolutely not.

I tried a variety of Lion's Mane brands. This one made be incredibly sleepy in the daytime! That's something I am not accustomed to. Admittedly, I wanted to like this one, because the attractive packaging far out-does the boring 50:1 extract brand I have experienced success with. That's dumb, I know, but I have to acknowledge petty consumer bias when I see it inside myself. The packaging on this one made me feel like I would climb immediately in the social ranks of some new age hippie woo-woo cult, and all my chakras would be aligned as magical dolphins erupted from my cabinet each time I grasped the jar to supplement my forgetful brain. Maybe I would learn to speak with dolphins, if I chose this brand. Nope. Just got reaaaaaal tired in the middle of the day. Everyone's body responds differently to these things, so, keep trying other brands if you do get the sleepy response. It seems I'm in the minority of people responding this way.

Ive taken this product in the past and can tell the difference when I run out. I end up ordering it again because it really helps with mental clarity. If I go two to three weeks without taking it, the brain fog comes back. I just add it to my protein drink every morning which disguises the flavor. Its a bit pricey but its worth it.
