Known for its strong clearing abilities, eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) is one of the most popular essential oils as it's inexpensive, easy to use and very effective. Eucalyptus leaves have a naturally sweet aroma but, through proper distillation, the essential oil becomes brisk and camphoraceous.
Aura Cacia Eucalyptus Essential Oil typically comes from a village in the Yunnan mountain area of southern China. It was planted in China to reforest the area nearly 100 years ago. Distillers use the small pieces of wood on which the leaves are attached to supply the heat necessary to create the steam for distillation.
What's the difference between organic eucalyptus essential oil and conventional eucalyptus essential oil? Organic essential oils differ from conventional oils in that the botanicals from which they are derived are grown according to the USDA's Organic Standards. Aura Cacia's manufacturing facility and all of their organic essential oils have also been certified organic by the established third-party certifier, Quality Assurance International (QAI).
Product Features:• Eucalyptus essential oil is dominated by cineole, which gives it a fresh, herbaceous smell. The cineole content can be as high as 80%, so the oil can be quite strong.
• The aroma of eucalyptus can dominate a blend so it's often used alone but it can combine well with frankincense, peppermint, and rosemary and conifer essential oils.
• Eucalyptus essential oil is often used in skincare oils, bath blends, home cleaning products, and indoor and outdoor diffusions.
• Eucalyptus essential oil is generally considered a top note.
Nice quality and well priced for organic. Great for adding to a relaxing epsom salt bath.
Pine ? I dont know what but more like pine?!
This product smells nothing like the real eucalyptus essential oil. It is for sure not authentic.
Had no idea that not all Eucalyptus smells the same. This product smells like old leaves, or old musty grass. Just making you aware there's a smell difference in case that matters to you. I did reach out to the manufacturer per the Sellers suggestion, and the Manufacturer replaced the item with the eucalyptus globulus vs. radiata. So, the manufacturer replaced the item with the Globulus which I then looked on the label of the brand I currently had, and ta-da... it was a globulus. So, I'm raising the stars to 3 since the manufacturer stepped up and helped me out to solve the problem. And, thanks to the Seller for the suggestion.
This is the second time I've ordered this same one. The first time it smelled like it should have. This second one smells different. It doesn't smell right and I'm wondering if it's been tampered with. There's no seal on it so how would you even know?
