Jarrow Formulas® CLA contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), a unique optical isomer of the polyunsaturated fatty acid linoleic acid. CLA is a lipid component of cell membranes and breast milk. Although dietary sources of CLA typically include red meat and dairy products, Jarrow Formulas® CLA is derived from safflower oil. CLA has been shown in animal experiments to assist in glucose metabolism, the reduction of body fat and enhancement/retention of lean body mass (muscle).*

Ugh, this is truly the best supplement I've taken for anxiety. My body is weird and cross-wired, so most supplements for relieving anxiety either have zero effect on me, or actually make me feel more anxious and/or jittery, which is super frustrating! Anyway, my naturopath recommended this, and it is the first supplement that worked and didn't have a weird, anxious effect on me. At first I was only able to take one pill in the morning, as I had trouble falling asleep at night. I backed off to one pill, and still had good results. It is subtle but I feel overall happier, calmer, I don't get an adrenaline rush as easily in stressful situations, and it's easier to calm down/maintain calm. I gradually worked my way up to two pills a day without having it interfere with my sleep, and that feels even better. This is truly a fantastic product and I'm so glad that it is being made!

There is no taste to this product. I feel great when taking the lithium Orotate. Certainly has lifted my moods and no more intense anxiety.. there is no weight gain either when taking this mineral.
