I've loved this product for years. Works without the sensitivity. The flavor used to be better but it's still fine
Not the same lusters I guess theyre no longer in business. Nothing bad to say about it though. Nothing special to say about the charcoal product. Standard toothpaste just black color. Would not purchase again I can just go to the drugstore and get regular toothpaste
I like Luster the whitening system, but the toothpaste is disgusting. It tastes like soap mixed with stomach bile. How could they get this so wrong?
I have been very hesitant to jump on the whole charcoal toothpaste bandwagon, but I guess I just needed to know. I like that this is white charcoal so it seems more appealing to me. It comes out of the tube as a very thick gel with a grey color. I was concerned at how thick the consistency was at first, but once I started brushing is evened out. So far its been a pleasant experience and the taste isnt bad. It's got a nice mild mint flavor that doesn't burn your mouth. It does leave my mouth and breath feeling just a fresh as other toothpastes, I just cant say if its really doing any whitening but maybe its too soon
I have staining from heavy coffee drinking and berry juices. I have tried other whitening pastes but the whitening isnt that noticeable and/or it makes my teeth sensitive to cold foods. This one did not and the whitening was noticeable. The tube was sealed shut. Pros: *Whitening-This made my teeth a few shades whiter. I dont know how to gauge the shades that it would have lifted it. But it did look a lot whiter each day that I had used it. It lifted stains that my crest whitening toothpaste didnt. *Charcoal-I was worried about the charcoal since I have used other charcoal toothpastes and even actual activated charcoal and it makes your whole mouth a mess. I ended up looking like a zombie and I had stained everything. This one is clean, it turns white in my mouth not really with water. So no mess at all with this one. *Texture-No grainy texture. If feels just like a regular tooth paste. It is very thick in consistency but you dont need to use very much. It is smooth and bubbles up when you brush your teeth really well. It does look grainy but it doesnt feel grainy. *Brushing reaction-It starts foaming/bubbling when you brush your teeth and it turns white. The color is really more of a dark grey so it isnt really black but it turns white right away when you brush. *Taste/smell-It tastes and smells like spearmint. It tastes good and has a refreshing feel during brushing and after you finish brushing. Cons: I didnt see any cons so far. Conclusion: *This is a really great whitening tooth paste that doesnt make my teeth sensitive. No, it dont completely erase all the yellowing but they look more white than yellow. The yellow is more of a pale tint now after using it about 2 weeks. They keep getting whiter too. It didnt have that staining black charcoal all over my mouth like I had with my regular charcoal tooth paste. My teeth felt smooth and clean after brushing. Overall this is one of the best whitening tooth pastes that wont make my teeth sensative to certain foods or cold food/drinks. I love it! :)
