"Pycnogenol" originally denoted all proanthocyanidin extracts, regardless of source. However, it now refers specifically to maritime pine bark. The mixture of proanthocyanidins in pine bark supports vascular endothelial integrity by stabilizing collagenous membranes. It also promotes vascular function by modulating nitric oxide levels. In addition to facilitating vitamin C regeneration and preserving vitamin E, Pycnogenol® is a hydroxyl and superoxide radical scavenger. Collectively, these actions promote the health of blood vessels.*

Not all supplements are made equal. This is a brand you can trust. I added this supplement to my regime to help with a connective tissue disorder.

Great for gastritis

I am so impressed with this product- I have to admit I was a little skeptical as Ive tried everything in the book to try and help my gastritis and bloating but I couldnt believe how well it works. It helps regulate bowel movements and after only four days the burning that I usually feel between meals is gone. Definitely would recommend to people who suffer from bad acid, gastritis and ulcers!

QUESTIONABLE!

I agree with Carol's, February 3, 2017, post as my bottles are missing the same information. It is strange that something you ingest has no expiration date with inaccurate and missing listings on the bottle shown compared to the ones received. I rarely write reviews unless I have a major concern. I will no longer order this as I had it on 'Subscribe and Save' and have switched brands. I am grateful for Carol's comparison. There is something off here. I gave it two stars because I do not know the reason behind the inconsistencies and it may be working fine, but I err on the side of caution when something is questionable.

Pyxnogenol 100mg working for my endometriosis symptoms!

Working for endometriosis symptoms! Lighter period. Much less cramping. No clots. Pain is diminished greatly. I feel more energy also. Highly recommended Pure encapsulations product.
