Bought this Nestle brand ONLY due to no fillers (maybe!) But after 3 days - dried my skin so bad I returned it. I dont trust the brand anymore.

My doctor recommended this. My levels were really low. They have gone up since taking this daily. Small and easy to swallow. Its about the size of an ibuprofen. Doesnt have a taste.

Lol seriously, its nothing against the product, but Im not vitamin A deficient, and only took it a month, so obviously my results will vary. * I like Pure Encapsulations as a brand; I take their supplements regularly, and notice the most difference with theirs. * These are priced competitively to other brands. My biggest gripe with these (and any other supplement) is: * Supplements in general are expensive. A single supplement is doable, but when you need more than one every month, it adds up quick.

Im not sure why I was so negatively effected by this but shortly after taking it I became extremely anxious and was up all night with body pain. Woke up the next day with a migraine. Dont recommend. Must be something about the way it was manufactured. Maybe the fish was in pain and I felt that on some level. It was not a good feeling. Felt very sickly after taking this. Never experienced that from taking a multivitamin containing vitamin a from beta carotene form. Probably wont try another cod liver formulation. Update - after this experience I stopped attempting to supplement with vitamin a altogether and just started eating sweet potatoes. I cut them up in thin slices and add olive oil and garlic pepper salt, put in oven 375 for 25 mins. Cleared up my dry eyes and vision problems over night, compared with this supplement which made me feel sick and did absolutely nothing to help my vision or eye issues that most def were stemming from vit a deficiency. Makes me question if we can even trust vitamin brands altogether to resolve vitamin deficiencys. Atleast this brand perhaps we cannot. Ive had some luck with solgar but thats just about it. Sweet potatoes have all the vitamin a youll ever need, cant believe I had never had them before, they are so good and way better than white potatoes.
