I have IBS, which typically means a lot of bloating/gas/constipation/food sensitivities. I have tried tons of different enzymes and probiotics from many brands over the years and in some cases they help in the beginning, then lose their effectiveness, or I react poorly to them, or they do nothing. Usually at some point, I can no longer tell the difference between taking them and not taking them, so I stop. These enzymes made a noticeable difference in the beginning and I reacted well to them. My digestion has generally been really good lately, but I'm taking several different things, so I'm not always sure what is having the biggest impact. I decided to let these run out thinking they might not be doing much anymore. Boy was I wrong. The symptoms came back immediately. The day I restarted these, the symptoms immediately vanished again. That is by far the most impressive long term effect I have had with any GI supplement. There are still some foods I am sensitive to, but for the majority, I have little to no symptoms as long as I am taking these. I take 2 of these before each meal, and 1 Pure enzymes with hcl after bigger meals (lunch & supper). Miralax-type laxative daily is also extremely helpful. Finally, I find these pair well with water kefir (or Kefiran if you prefer supplement form). That's another that has been consistently helpful for me. Pure Encapsulations is my go to for anything I can get from them these days -- they just work better than all the other brands hands down.
