I love this product all year round. I dont know if its good for protecting my skin from the elements. But I dont feel like theres a thin coat of plastic on my face like so many others. I always use it at night and in the winter when I have a beard.

This is a wonderful product. The combo of calendula and rose are perfect for anyone going through a skin issue. I used this to calm my skin from hives caused by food allergies on my face, arms and chest. This kept my face moisturized and calmed the redness and severe itching sensation. The hives burned my skin almost like a sunburn and I was afraid that it was going to permanently damage or stain my skin (most steroid creams do this as well when treating skin issues) and I am so happy that this product delivered and was healing to my skin. This goes on like an ointment (thick like Vaseline) which is important if you need to keep the area moisturized for prolonged periods of time. The skin soaks it in and it does not leave behind any residue in my experience. I completely recommend it! Happy healing!
