Solution: NOW® Solutions 100% Pure Magnesium Chloride Flakes are an ideal natural bath additive for softening skin. Derived from the ancient Zechstein seabed in the Netherlands, one of the world's purest remaining subterranean mineral sources, our pure magnesium flakes have traditionally been used to improve skin hydration, and make a soothing addition to bath water and foot baths. One cup of flakes contains approximately 19 grams of elemental magnesium.

Ingredient: Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate Flakes.
Suggested Use: Foot Bath: Dissolve 1 cup in approx. 1 gallon of warm water. Soak 20-30 minutes. Full Bath: Dissolve 4 cups in bathtub filled with warm water. Soak 20-30 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.
Caution: Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use. Consult physician if taking medications (especially diuretics), or have a medical condition (especially a kidney, heart, or respiratory condition).

Not a magic pill but

Using this to make magnesium oil works. I got the recipe from other reviews and it helped me run without knee pain. It does sting (which suggests youre magnesium deficient allegedly) and it stopped stinging and itching about a week of consistent use. It didnt totally remove all discomfort but the more I use it I can run without the pain but it bothers me a LOT less. I am still using it and I cant run every day (yet) but I havent been able to run without pain and this helps me a great deal.

Great product and value for your money

I actually made a tincture for pain and added the magnesium oil I made from the flakes and it mixes and works very well. I love it !
