Arginine is a conditionally essential basic amino acid involved primarily in urea metabolism and excretion, as well as in DNA synthesis and protein production.* It is an important precursor of nitric oxide (NO) and thus plays a role in the dilation of blood vessels.*

This product has twice the L-Arginine (1,000 mg per tablet) as in NOW's regular strength product (500 mg per capsule).

The L-Arginine used in this product is pharmaceutical grade.

The very large size

This product could be a beneficial supplement, but I didn't have the opportunity to try it. The tablet is very large, and I choked on it and had to spit it out. There should be a note on the packaging advising about the size.

These pills are huge, and tough to swallow.

Pills are HUGE!!!

I bought these because my normal brand was out, but they are bigger than Donald Trump's ego! Also they don't contain all the better ingredients that my brand does. As soon as my normal brand became available I ordered them and trashed these oversized dinosaur pills. They are literally the only supplement in my life I've ever had trouble swallowing.
