Distinctive taste and smell.

Take 1 pill for the first time to make sure you are not allergic! I saw a reviewer had an allergic to mastic gum, so I'd recommend being cautious with any mastic products if you have never tried it before. The dosage recommends 2 capsules, so start with 1 to make sure you don't get hives. I am not allergic and I am fine (like most people).
