Rating and reviewing supplements is always hard because the way this may or may not be perceived to affect someone is always going to be different between people. For me, I truthfully cant say at this time after a few weeks of use if this supplement is doing what its supposed to. I can say that it doesnt upset my stomach when I take this with or without food. It doesnt give me any kind of gross flavored burps like some supplements (especially fish oil) can do. The capsules arent hard to swallow, have no bad smell, and dont have any taste to them. My cardiologist approves of me taking these since my family on both sides are prone to cardiac problems. Like many supplements, this is something that will show its benefits only after being taken for a long time. As long as your doctor is okay with you adding this to your diet and if it doesnt counteract any prescribed medications, grape seed extract could be very beneficial for long term cardiac health, especially if youre at higher risk due to family history. Theres a lot of may/might/may/could be when reading reports on how beneficial polyphenols are, though much points to them indeed being positive for the human body. NOTE: the gelatin capsules arent vegetarian or vegan, so if you are trying to avoid any animal products, please be aware.

I take these daily for allergies, but I use two a day, don't think anyone would get much allergy relief with a one a day dose. The price is good and more and more research is showing a plethora of benefits from ingesting polyphenols in any form (foods and supplements) but the one thing I hate about this (and most) formulas is that they all cheap out and add magnesium stearate which has been proven to hinder your body from utilizing the supplement! I would pay more for a better supplement, you listening Jarrow?
