Good supplement for my dog that had a spleenectomy

I give 2 caps a day to my pup that had a major surgery to remove his spleen. He is staying in top health and has good digestion. Will continue to supplement

Only works if combined with...

Works, but only if combined with defatted beef liver. Without the defatted beef liver you end up with iron toxicity.

I can't see how this product is real

I can't see how this product is real. The colour is white, the smell is sweet. I've bought organ meats from at least 3 manufacturers, and every one of them has smelled like the actual organ, and had a similar colour. And even if you accept the manufacturer's explanation on this page, that there is a rice cellulose filler (though they also say there are no fillers - something's wrong there too), it should only be a tiny amount - these capsules are designed to carry about 400-600 mg of most powders and the manufacturer claims there are 500 mg of spleen per capsule, so there is not much room for filler, but there aren't even brown speckles among the white powder

Not for pregnant women

Im 8.5 months pregnant and anemic. Trying to raise iron levels. Have tried 3,2 and 1 daily- also tried taking the powder out of the capsules and each dose have given me debilitating heartburn! Do not recommend if youre pregnant!
