I often turn to elderberry & zinc when I feel like I need an immune boost. I've tried various forms from capsules to lozenges, and they are typically separate. So I really liked this had both zinc and elderberry in a combination form. The dropper makes it really easy to use and measure. The bottle recommends mixing it with something else due to the strong taste and I agree! I tried taking it on its own and it isn't great. It isn't too off-putting, just very intense. I find that it goes well with a mild juice. Once it is blended in, you can hardly taste. Trace Minerals makes some of the best products in terms of purity and quality!

The problem with reviewing a product that is designed to prevent something is that you never know if it is working. I have been taking this product for about 3 weeks and I haven't gotten sick except for a very mild achiness at the same time my son was sick. So is that because of taking this product? It is impossible to know. I often do get sick if anyone around me is sick, so perhaps this product help stave that off this time. The directions say to use .5 to 1.5 milileters per dose, mixed with juice or food due to the concentrated nature of the product. I find it nearly impossible to get exactly .5 milileters per syringe, so I have just been approximating and using two syringefuls with about 8 ounces of orange juice. I do not taste the product through the taste of the orange juice. I didn't think this product would last very long as the bottle is quite small, but even after three weeks I still have just under half a bottle left. $15 is not cheap, but it does seem to last a while. As I said, it's impossible to say if this product is "worth it", but given the fact that we're still in a pandemic (even if the world pretends we're not) and we're headed into usual cold and flu season, it doesn't hurt to have a little extra immunity boost and this product is as good as any.
