Bacillus coagulans (also known as Lactobacillus sporogenes) is a lactic acid-producing bacteria that is unique in probiotic supplementation. Fantastic Product

B. Coagulins is the best for chronic constipation/IBS-C. I don't know why basic probiotics do not use this one strain so it has to be purchased separately. What I do not like: This brand is very expensive, so I had to go with Swanson or Solaray and they work just as well.
