I was surprised that a "plant based" calcium pill was had a harder surface and more difficult to swallow than my previous (non-plant) brand Bone Up. I wish they made these in gel coat. I tried putting the pills in a smoothie even than could perceive hard small pieces in my drink. So unfortunately, likely to skip this brand in future. Disappointed as wanted a plant based alternative, but if you can't get it down, bottle is useless.

I prefer to buy this product not only because it is organic and plant based, but also have added Vitamin K2 as MK-7, Vitamin D and magnesium. It has a very mild taste but the size of the tablet is kind of big to me. It is not of a problem as you have a choice to cut the tablet in half. I am not sure of the absorbency at this time as my next DEXA bone density will be in October.
