It works just fine even when you take a year or two break.

I tried kava kava a few years back and I tried this brand and a couple others including the ones where you have to kneed it in a cloth and drink it as well. However this brand is fairly good for the price and when I took them again I felt the effects the first day I took them after I had took a couple year break from kava. I would definitely not try to abuse it because of the possible effects on your internal organs like liver and kidneys, I'm not saying it's dangerous. Drinking alcohol daily isn't good for them either and you should take breaks from that. With that being said you know your body and this brand might work for you, I have noticed each brand is slightly different in effect for each person. Be responsible. Each person is different you might feel it the first day or you might have to take it for a few days to really notice anything. I did start out taking kava kava shots from rootofhappiness I think but these were slightly effective,when I got low on the bottle is when I noticed it started really working. I'm giving this a five star rating for the fact I took such a long break and felt it the first night I took them again. I'm not a doctor but I would think after your initial dose of kava to get you started your body will recognize the chemical for ever. Maybe I'm wrong but it's doing the trick for me. Don't forget to drink water!
