Red Bull for cats

So we started fostering a mother cat that had been dumped on a family member's property. She was in bad shape, from nursing 6 kittens, not eating regular food as it is clear she was an indoor cat. Turns out she had worms and a gastrointestinal infection, probably from drinking standing water. When we got her to the vet for the second visit, they gave her an additional dose of de-wormer, antibiotics and a B12 shot. Within a day she was a different cat, energetic and playful. The vet suggested an additional B12 supplement for the kittens as the mama had been sick. One tiny drip of this (11 week kittens) and it's absolute chaos in my house! They went from lethargic to ordinary kittens within 2 hours! The vet did say to only supplement 2X a week, unlike the directions on the label.

The taste is acceptable to our cat.

Our cat was interested in the flavor the first time. After that, it was just medicine, but being that it obviously was not repugnant to him, made it an easy to give. He will not lick it himself and we use a syringe, but it is not hard to do.
