I like to take this milk with me when I travel

I really wanted to like this soy milk powder but it's not pleasant tasting at all. It doesn't taste like soy milk. Very disappointed. It doesn't mix well in hot water and clumps up very badly. I think it might work better if you are baking with it. Please be aware that this product is NOT RETURNABLE.

Mix it up first, pour in the coffee - so creamy! Dump some in a bowl, mix with a little water, before adding hot chicken soup - NOM! It tastes good, freezes pourable, and is a great deal. LOVE IT.

Now that I am car-free, soy milk is one of the heaviest and most frequently bought items I shop for. This saves a lot of packing and weight. The flavor is not quite as good as liquid soy milk, but the price is good and the reduced weight is excellent. So I often mix this with liquid soy milk, especially in recipes where the flavor won't matter as much.

We drink a lot of soy milk so I definitely know what taste I'm after. Many years ago I made tofu and soy milk from dry soybeans. By looking at it, it was a success however it didn't taste as good as store bought. This soy milk has a similar taste to the soy milk I made. It mixes very easily but it is creamier (thicker). I kind of liked that but it isn't what I expected. I found that when I mixed a quart and left it in the refrigerator I had to mix it again because it did separate. That wasn't a problem. Taste was the problem. It was okay in my oatmeal. I would just add a heaping tablespoon and water. I imagine it would be okay in smoothies. I read other reviews on how it did not mix with coffee. Normal packed soy milk also curdles in coffee so this shouldn't be any different. This product does help save the planet with less packaging. All soy milk should be sold this way. If we could get a powdered soy milk made from green fresh soy beans we would really have something to write about!
