Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet™ Soft Gels product is an excellent source of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. It is an important supplement to help support optimal pet health. This product is offered in convenient soft gelatin capsules for home use and traveling with your pet companion.
Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet Soft Gels oil is derived exclusively from wild anchovies and sardines sustainably sourced from the South Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are important fatty acids for humans and their dog and cat companions because they cannot be made in the body. The only source of EPA and DHA for these species is through the diet and/or supplementation. Daily supplementation with Omega-3 Fatty Acids helps support optimal health for your pet companion.
EPA and DHA are necessary structural components of cell membranes. These omega-3 fatty acids maintain the cell membrane fluidity and permeability needed for healthy, functioning cells.
EPA and DHA are found abundantly in cold-water fish. Flax seed oil contains ALA, another omega-3 fatty acid that requires the body to first convert ALA to EPA and DHA before utilization. Humans and dogs have limited ability to make this conversion, while cats have even less ability to make this conversion. Therefore, supplementation with high-quality omega-3 fish oil is recommended for humans, dogs and cats.
The omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) found in fish oil support:
• Cellular health
• Immune system health
• Skin and coat health
• Joint health
• Heart health
• Brain development and maintenance
• Eye development and maintenance

Not for my pet
My dog is a medium sized dog, with a no so big mouth. I was worried at first that she wouldnt take the capsules. These are soft enough that I can pop them in her food and mix. Most time I puncture and then mix it around in the food. She LOVES the smell AND taste! These are much better than some other brands in terms of smell and performance. Ive notice a different in her skin and coat. Ive tried other brands, but this is my fave. All of my dogs, there are 3, love this product. Subscribe and Save gets it here, right on time!
To help with my dogs joints and its really helping
I would recommend to use it with a pill pocket as the Grennie brand has, so is easier for the doggies to swallow and they think they are getting treats
