Took the place of taking Neurontin

I was put on Fentanyl and Neurontin (Gabapentin) for pain. Was on them both for years. However, the Fentanly lt did more HARM than good to my body. I have issues now that I will have to live with for the rest of my life even though it literally took 3 weeks to finally get weaned off of it. I started seeing a Natural Path doctor due to the pain I was still in. He suggested I start using GABA. Yes, the main ingredient that is in Neurontin (Gabapentin), but without all the other "Junk". I only take it at night. It helps me tremendously to sleep with little to no more pain. There are MANY other drugs (including insulin) that I no longer have to use. Admittedly, the GABA it NOT what got me off of insulin (type 2 diabetic). I am giving an honest review on the GABA product - please note, it is just one of the things I have changed to that has helped me to get off of MANY prescribed drugs that the Main Stream Doctors and pharmacies thrive on. This is MY opinion and is not necessarily for everyone.

This one actually works

This is the first vitamin D supplement that has actually worked for me. For the past 5 years or so my doctor has told me that my vitamin D is low and I should take 3000 IU of vitamin D3. Every year I respond that I am already taking 3000 IU. I started on this particular supplement back in the summer. At my annual checkup in September my vitamin D was in the normal range for the first time in years! I'm sticking with this one.

Works great! I read how this helps with anxiety and it seems like it is working.

Too expensive, too inconvenient, and wasnt very effective

You have to take 6 horse pills a day and every time I even took one and waited a few hours to take the other I felt I didnt absorb any of it. My urine was bright neon yellow and I drank plenty of water. I like most metagenic products but I cant stand behind this pill. Too many big pills to take in one day and I didnt feel any difference in taking them.
