You cant judge a book by its color

I worked at every level of the dietary supplement industry, from raw materials procurement and technical sales to management, for a number of companies, for over forty-five years. I am now retired. Regarding variability in color of many natural product - in this case S. Boulardii - manufacturers formulate with natural ingredients that can result in a finished product that with varying organoleptic (sensory) characteristics. Taste, sight, smell and touch are always initial screening methods in establishing the acceptability of natural ingredients that are used in a finished priduct. Variations in sensory criteria that occur within a specified range will not result in product performance if more advanced, qualitative and quantitative screening methods confirm product identity and purity specs. Consumers should be confident that ethical and competent manufacturers operating using legitimate, third-party standards, produce healthful supplements.
