Inulin, a fructooligosaccharide (FOS), is a soluble prebiotic fiber that is resistant to digestion and reaches the large intestine essentially intact.* Intestinal probiotic bacteria consume Inulin and in turn, produce the short-chain fatty acids that nourish the cells lining the colon.* Inulin thus helps to maintain intestinal health and function.* Inulin has a pleasant flavor that adds a mild sweetness to foods and drinks, but has a very low glycemic index and will not negatively impact serum glucose levels.*

Love it!

I have been using the Inulin powder for a couple of months now. I cant say that it does all of the things that I have read Inulin powder is supposed to do, but it has made a huge difference in helping me with my tummy troubles. I rarely need to take gluten and acid reducer pills anymore. I can even eat jalapeos again. I wish it had more of an effect on my bowel movements, but none really. I might try using more. Right now I am just adding a teaspoon to my coffee. I cant taste it at all, but I add a lot of other things to my coffee, so maybe the taste is just buried in sweetness.

Easy to use, probiotics love this stuff

Ive been using this with great results as an additive to my homemade yogurt recipes. It gives a thicker texture when I make it with whole milk, Ive found that using cream instead for a thicker yogurt usually gives me a layer of cream at the top of my yogurt and this gives a more consistent texture. Its a more homogeneous product when I use both inulin and cream for my yogurt. Pro tip, add a teaspoon of food grade glycerin for each quart for an extremely active culture. I got this after I attempted coconut milk yogurt and had a lot of separation. Using this with a little bit of agar gives excellent results with coconut. I will not make coconut yogurt again without this. Reuteri yogurt- it seems to help the consistency. A lot of debate with using this in the recipe but I keep it in because regardless of the reuteris preference, its still a valuable prebiotic that helps you keep the other good stuff in your gut. With a crock pot and a temperature controller like the InkBird ITC 308, you can have yourself a fantastic water bath yogurt maker/sous vide cooker that will compete with anything for customizability and accuracy. Get it with the wifi version and you can monitor the entire operation wherever you are https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Max-1200W-Temperature-Controller-Greenhouse/dp/B07NRFL13X
