Ordered for use in daughters dorm at her college campus. You know what they say.. College dorms are a breeding ground for bacterial and viral infections- regardless of a current pandemic! Thats the trouble with small confined spaces, communal living/bathrooms.. and not the best health and cleaning practices taking place!! Appreciate LUCAS CIDE #222 comes ready to use! Much easier and more likely to utilize. (Not lazy as much as its all about convenience!) It will increase price-so something to consider. *You need chemical grade spray bottle to disperse avoiding trigger damage by harsh chemicals. (View photo above to see example.) Safety: Color is electric blue! Easy to see/spot- No mix up with other cleaners.. it screams to user pay attention! Best with gloves to avoid skin irritation and using as directed product sits wet on surface a min. before wiping.. I use Plan B: sprayed directly onto cleaning rag- it is ideal to wipe door knobs, handles, switches, quirky bathroom fixtures, etc. places a solid flat surface isnt easily sprayed. This will dry quickly without stick, residue, blue hue.. its just a killer cleaner! *Respect product but dont be afraid to use- standard obvious rules for safety.. and youll be just fine!! (Ive even used without gloves- just soap wash immediately after.. you get idea!) Scent isnt toxic like some cleaners- in fact, not unpleasant and dissipates quickly. This is peace of mind for parents.. An extra step in a healthy line of defense. Larger jug allows fill of multiple bottles to utilize in various/easy locations.. otherwise, storing in original jug is perfect/safe. Grateful to have- I dont hesitate to recommend. I am a DIY nail tech and I bought this to clean my bits and all my nail stuff after doing my nails and it's super easy to use. I bought it on the recommendation of the place I get my e file bits from- Erica's ATA, so I feel confident that I have a good product to sanitize all of my stuff

I use this at a cat sanctuary as cats deal with calici and rhino virus. We're finding it a hassle to use (at least as directed). For it to work it says items must remain wet for multiple minutes, then you wipe up. That's an issue....we can't have a wet tile floor for 10 minutes due to safety issues. We also use this on the cat door flaps but the time it needs to remain wet is again posing issues....we're in hot Florida where the temps are close to 100. By the time we spray this, the heat on the outside of the flaps dries it out so it can't remain wet. So while technically it is capable of killing what we need to kill, we have no way of following the directions so we don't know if we're protecting the cats from these virus's or not

I received a one gallon jug and the product is blue. I have been using this Lucas cide disinfectant around the edge of the shower regularly to keep the mildew from forming and getting into the caulk. I also spray the shower floor to eliminate any fungus. The scent is very mild and it doesn't cause me any issues with breathing while spraying it. It's very easy to use. The product supposedly eliminates quite a few viruses but there are special instructions for most of them, specifically, the amount of time the surface must stay wet with this product in order to kill the specified virus. Overall, I like it and it's easy to use but it's a bit expensive for my purposes
