NOW Grape Seed Extract 100 mg 100 vegcaps

Made no difference after taking it for a month. Not for. High helpful for a high anxiety dog

I was very excited to try this product out, as I feel it would greatly benefit me, but they arrived all stuck together. No amount of shaking them has separated them and I have been trying for two days now. I cant even get the massive clump out of the bottle to try to separate individually. I will have to toss them. Very disappointed

I have to argue that this is not a very potent or high quality extract and that the claims of 90% polyphenols isnt correct. I have come to this conclusion because of a few different factors. This is the 3rd brand of grape seed extract that I have purchased and out of all 3 it has been the LEAST effective. It also has the dullest color out of all of them, being extremely light, rather than extremely bright. Pink and whitish specs can be seen, compared to deep purple with the other 2 brands. But out of everything, the most noticeable was its actual effects on me. I use this product to lower estrogen and with the other two brands I purchased (to keep this review authentic I wont mention them) I noticed a rapid change in body chemistry and hormone balance, but with this specific brand I noticed nothing at all. I even started taking double the dose I was with the others and it still had no effect on me what so ever. When it comes to anything grapes, the quality of a product becomes very obvious because there are several noticeable factors; including through scent, visual, internal changes, and even external changes with something like Resveratrol. This is not a knock on NOW Supplements. I actually think they make great products at very affordable prices just not this one. And of course, as always, there is a chance I received a bad batch. My scalp was itching so badly. I didn't understand why, the only thing I'd done differently was started taking this supplement. I read about the side effects and this is one of many. Should have done more research before buying.

I purchases this product for my dog that has been diagnosed as having severe anxiety (separation, situational, general) and OCD by her vet. We have tried other supplements, we even resorted to Prozac, which she ended up having pretty significant side effects from. After 3 or 4 days of taking one capsules in the AM and another in the PM (45 lbs), she is noticeably calmer and less reactive to stressful events! We were having sewer work done right outside of our yard. She was able to go outside and do her business (with a minimal barking, because STRANGERS) but she was FUNCTIONAL. Huge difference between what her normal response would have been. She is less on edge and able to focus on training, which is all I've ever wanted. Highly recommend!
