Progressive Labs Vanadium Complex

This is a great clay mask! In spreads easily, the texture is nice. The mask is exfoliating without over-drying. The price is so much better than other brands at Sephora with comparable quality. I really love the exfoliation sensation while massaging it on. This washes off well too, no need for harsh scrubbing.

So, the packaging that the clay mask came in was a little different compared to the picture, but I decided to try it in case it was just a recent packaging change, like most companies are doing. On the actual tube itself, the subtitle says "Charcoal and Marine Algae" instead of the plain "Charcoal." After reading the description, it does list some type of algae is used for the actual "scrub" part, so I tried it out. At first, it looks like a regular clay mask and lays down like one, but after placing it on my T-zone (forehead, nose, chin), it started to burn and sting like crazy near my nose area, so I'm not too sure about how delicate it is towards sensitive skin.

It applies easily, dries quickly and the minute it touches water it turns into a gentle cream. Wish it came in a bigger size!

My skin is so sensitive I have to use milk cleansers. Im extremely pale. After use my skin is a bit red but I just add some Leven Rose Rose hip Oil after and the redness fades very quickly. It doesnt burn, even with the scrub. Pulls out dirt and toxins.

This mask is fun to use because it's blue and it changes color while on your skin, but for someone like me with whiteheads/blackheads/sebaceous filaments, I don't see any difference after using even though clay/charcoal is supposedly good for acne. I'd rather stick to AHAs and BHAs.
