Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are fats that are naturally found in coconut and palm kernel oils. They're more easily and rapidly digested than other types of fats. MCTs are readily absorbed from the GI tract and are metabolized very quickly by the liver, where they are reported to encourage the use of fat for energy rather than for storage.* Numerous studies suggest that substituting MCT oil for other fats in a healthy diet may therefore help to support healthy weight and body composition.*

Suggested Usage: Shake well before using. Take 1 tablespoon (15 mL) daily. MCT Oil can also be used as a substitute for conventional oils in salad dressings, sauces or cooking as a source of beneficial fatty acids. Not recommended for use in frying due to low smoke point.

MCT Oil has naturally occurring fatty acids Caprylic Acid (C8:0) and Capric Acid (C10:0). NOW® MCT Oil is Pharmaceutical Grade.
Storage Guidance: Store in a cool, dry and dark environment in tightly sealed original container. After opening, product can be refrigerated or stored at cool room temperature.

Great product, comes

Great product, comes in a plastic bottle that they wrap well in bubble wrap. Use it in your coffee or on its own. Great product.

The flavor of

The flavor of the product is good, but when I received the bottle the cap was already cracked. It is always messy when dispensing into my coffee, spills down the bottle. A squeeze bottle might be more helpful.

The only issue

The only issue I had is the bottle does not have Cs listed on the bottle so we do not know if it has c8 or c10.

I actually love

I actually love this stuff. In terms of providing slow, steady energy throughout the day. Or supporting a ketogenic diet: It rocks. NOW is a great company with high standards. a data-hook /-/es/I-love-this-product/dp/B07K4SMP49/ I love this product . We've tested it in our lab and it's very clean. The only issue, if there is one, is that the actual flavor is hard to find. Meaning: I'm pretty sure they used an actual extract of vanilla bean as the flavor. As a result, it's almost impossible to taste. Regardless: Good MCT is good MCT. You can't go wrong. Good, low-level, long lasting energy. And maintaining ketosis. What more could you ask for?

There were different descriptions in the product information section as far as product size. I did not receive the size I ordered.
